Does anybody know which the positive wire is in the mid level spoiler brake light. I have a white wire and white and green 1. I need to make uo the wiring loom to get it to work. My original spoiler didn't have a brake light in it.

Cheers

Barke light? Is that one that responds to loud dogs?:D

Seriously, it won't matter unless the spoiler b/l is LED, in which case try it: if it lights, you did it right, if it doesn't, swop the wires and hey presto.

What bulbs / LEDs are in the brake lights? I'm sure the one in my spoiler isn't as bright as it used to be...

The B/L looks like it could be LED, in which case crossed fingers that I get the wiring correct first time or its pop time.

Guess its bulb not LED as first time I connected it I got the wires the wrong way round. Switched em over and jobs a goodun. Looks a bit meesy though with scotch locks, so when I get the chance when the weathers a bit warmer I'll solder the wires together on the boot lid (its bl00dy freezing out there). The light cluster can stay on scotch loks as no one but me will see them.

Sounds like LED to me: doesn't matter which way round you connect a bulb array, it'll work both ways. Modern higher voltage LEDs have enough protection built in so that if you wire in reverse, it just doesn't light. You'd need to wire it in reverse, and increase the voltage, or leave it for a couple of hours to do any damage.:)
