after knocking a nail into the hot water pipe that comes out of boiler and along to taps i put a new joint in there-had to use a soldered joint cos no room under floorboards for push fit one.turned the tap of in airing cupboard to stop water coming out but this left a little trickle so turned main stop cock off and drained hot water tank in airing cupboard that way to get pipes dry-anyway to empty pipes i opened all the hot taps up over house etc-did job turned water back on and no leaks-then problem-all my taps are working ok except my hot water tap in kitchen-no water whatsoever will come out of it-all other hot taps are ok tho-so hoping be an air lock i tuned other taps on then opened up kitchen tap-still nought-until my hot water heats up again i cant even feel pipe to see how far water is getting-any idea's why a tap downstairs wont flow when all i did was join a pipe upstairs.
thank you
