and if citroen put out some of there good offers ( free insurance no VAT ) then i will be very tempted

I think it looks really good. Will look at it as a replacement for my 2nd car next year.

Much better than the Focus, I mean, Golf, I mean Mazda, I mean............

Apart from Renault (Admittedly don't like the Megane), most mass market car makers, building a similar car look the same

I think it looks great as well. I dont suppose they'll make a 2 litre turbo version of it though Cant believe Citroen haven't cashed in on the Rally success. You have to wonder what the point in taking part is.

Yep, and me too!

I saw it on the new ad and like the looks of it. Need to see one in the flesh i suppose but first impressions are of a stylish looking car.

Having had a ZX volcane, and a Saxo VTR, I still hold a small torch for Citroens, such a shame they have not produced anything sporty in a while...

However the C4 looks nice, funky advert and the promise of a 180bhp VTS sound quite tempting, especially if they are still doing the cashback \ 0% finance deals etc....

Part of me hopes it's built better than Citroens of old, but then again if it is I know it will be heavier and less nimble than my ZX was....

Ian.

I loved the advert. Car doesn't look bad either just hope it's not made from cardboard like the others.

I was saying how much I liked it to my girlie only last night. I did think of having an eye test the today, in case my vision was faultering a little! Plus she was looking at me as if I'd dropped a big one.

It'll fall apart like a childrens toy though My Dad had a brand new BX company car years ago and it got to 60,000 miles (less than 3 years old) and fell apart in the space of two weeks It looked like you'd parked it in Liverpool for the night

Just looked at the specs etc, like the look of the 2.0 litre TD anyone now if the engine is any good...? i thought the 180 GTI block there going to use in the VTS was decent enough ?

Paul how can you compare it to a car thats 20 years old? All manufactures have moved on from them! Bit like saying a new skoda is **** coz one years ago was........

Well not many people seemed to like it when the 206 GTi 180 came out. No where near as good as rivals 2.0l powerplants.

Shouldda used the GTi-6 engine, that was a cracker! (but "only" 167bhp )

TBH i think they have moved on a bit from the bx days, my saxo really isnt that bad and i would really consider another citroen.

I saw a a BX GTI ( the one with the mi16 engine ) going through telford auction for £50 !!!!!! with a bit of tax and MOT no thats depreciation for you

Citroen only make good small cars in my opinion, my Mum had an AX and now owns a saxo (just a 1.1) and they seem fine but the bigger stuff seems very poorly built and depreciates like a second hand McDonalds Mind you the quality is about the same actually

so does the c4 get into the small car group...? TBH i havent been in or driven the bigger stuff that they make, would prob wait for some second hand ones to appear because im not going to spend nearly £20,000 on a citroen ( even im not that crazy...!!! )
