anyone know of the cheapest place to buy a Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser from???

i need one for insurance purposes but refuse to pay sh1tloads from a garage.

any recommendations and estimated costs???

You can't buy Cat1 alarms on their own. They need to be installed by those authorised, i.e. garages. Otherwise you will not be able to provide a certificate of installation to the insurers.

This is how it work as far as I know.
