A 0-60 time victory is totally different to showing something a clean pair of heels though, a point missed in the article.
Just because I can do 0-60 in the 3s in the wet in an old Scooby with mods doesn't mean that I can outperform a Koenigsegg when it does it in the 4s in the wet. 0-60 plays into the hand of an AWD rally replica.

To be honest i'd of thought a FQ400 would be pretty much unbeatable in everyday motoring on A or B roads, the combination of 400BHP in a VERY well sorted chassis with Active Yaw control is a hard one to beat.
Sure the Koenigsegg, Zonda and Enzo brigade would pull away in a straight line but once it came to off camber corners, damp tarmac, leaves on the road etc etc the EVO would'nt even be glimpsed.
Oh and for 40k thats proberly around a years servicing on the above cars too!

Andy
It is two models out of date Andy, we are driving dinosaurs
Relatively lightweight dinosaurs with good lungs mind
I think that if the FQ400 was at £40000 it would be quite good value, some nice bits on it, I'd be worried about the residuals though.

Quoted figures are 405bhp@6700rpm and 355ft/lbs@5400rpm which is a surprisingly low torque figure for car of this price.
I agree £40k would be a fair price.
