StephenDone 26 September 2004, 01:26 LOTS OF UPDATES...
I have transplanted a Spec C engine into my Type R, and now have the original drivetrain from the Type R for sale.

StephenDone 26 September 2004, 12:18 Please post your offers on the BBS. It saves me posting back to tell everyone what the current highest offer is.
Thanks
Steve
julian N/W wrx my93 26 September 2004, 15:19 are you selling the brakes separate?
if so how much?
StephenDone 26 September 2004, 21:56 ##### I am not willing to split the items at the moment, since it would make the remainder harder to sell. Sale is for all items. #####
However, make me an offer. If I do end up splitting them, I'll let you know.
I'll assume the offer is for 4 discs and 4 calipers.
StephenDone 26 September 2004, 22:11 Sale also includes the full exhaust. Was originally missed off the list at the top.
Steve
CataIunya 27 September 2004, 14:04 If you ever split I will take the box, diff and box ecu off you ! PM me...
StephenDone 27 September 2004, 14:28 Please post your offer. I have been offered 800 for box & diff & diff module.
Richard Askew 27 September 2004, 14:36 Stephen
I have a MY99 Uk car running a WRX RA box and diff (non DCCD) - what is needed to convert this transmission to Type R with DCCD? Box? Diff and ECU and nowt else?
StephenDone 27 September 2004, 14:42 Other things you'd need (but this is not a definitive list):
Dash cluster with centre diff display
Loom portion for centre diff
Diff dial.
Check you read hubs match up to the diff, or buy mine.
You need to research this. I'm just selling the parts.
If you take the lot, it is easy. If you start mixing and matching it gets complicated. That is why I am selling a complete drivetrain.
I would be willing to split the engine off, so someone could buy all except engine for example. But if I sell rear diff, I won't be able to sell rear hubs for example.
To start things, let's say 2000 pounds for engine and 1500 pounds for the rest. I'll see where the offers go from there.
StephenDone 27 September 2004, 17:33 I have an offer of 300 for the front discs and calipers, assuming it ends up being split.
Anyone interested in the rear 2 pots & discs ? Would make a nice upgrade for a UK Turbo.
Pavlo 27 September 2004, 22:22 the rear 2pots and discs will only fit on the hubs that match the shafts that match the rear diff
StephenDone 27 September 2004, 23:18 Many STIs have 2 pot rears. But I don't think they all have the big rear diff. So are there two types of 2 pot variants then ?
stockcar 28 September 2004, 08:23 only the early cars with R180 (large) rear diffs have the 2pot calipers (4door STi's normally have the std sliding caliper & little R160 diff).................
later "new-age" cars have little diff and 2pot set-up, however this is different again...........

Hi Wuz.
I have an offer of 1500 for those parts without wishbones currently. So you need to better 1500 and factor in the wishbones too.
Cheers
Steve
WUZ 29 September 2004, 13:00 Cool M8. I don't really need the wishbones so I'll offer £1530 without wishbones.
