Standard STi Type UK Brakes
2 years worth of track days (10-12 track days), and discs and calipers are still good.
Standard pads are poor, so changed them to Mintex 1155 front and rear.
Never yet had any fade. They last about 1 year.
Tried ferodo and pagid, not any better, just more expensive.

IMO if you are "hard" on brakes wouldn't bother had nothing but probs on gpN cars and trackday only cars..............
as for 1155 being as good as Pagid then i can only assume you have only used "road" type compounds??

depends on exactly how hard and long you try and use them..............they are alright for short sessions (and cool adequately) but to be honest always found the "old" subaru caliper was better (albeit not quite as much outright friction) as retains less heat due to the "shielding" issues................stick a set of AP's on - different issue!!

p.s. based on track type usage not road..............fine in "normal" use.........
