Hi guys. Looking to purchase my 99 uk turbo within next couple of weeks. Fished around quite a bit for insurance. Im 24 with 3 yrs no claims, tesco gave me the best quote of £1070. What do u lot think. Is this good or not?

That's Good...!
I'm in a similar situation as you (as in I'm considering buying a 2000/X Plate UK Turbo), I'm 24 and have 5 years no claims bonus, Tesco wanted £1189 insured for me:
* 10k a year
* Car parked on the road
* Protected No Claims Bonus
* Tracker
I've never have any accidents and convictions (touch wood) and I live in a low risk area.
So £1070 I thinks great.... I can only really go upto £1k so not sure what to do now

thats a good quote, im 24 with tesco on my99, full no claims - protected etc, £1000 fully comp.
with tesco you have your excess that you put in, say £250, but what you dont see is the young persons excess on top of that of another £250.
Plus you do have to have a tracker fitted.

At least Tesco will quote you. The joys of being over 30, living in northern ireland with full no claims for 10 years and still having to pay £1250 for a MY99 with no mods. What a joke .....
Rant over sorry for the hi-jack!!!!!!!

Have you tried Liverpool Victoria - I'm older (34) but only pay £480. Others have found them good and mod friendly. (Oh they are an internet only company by the way)

seems like a good quote to me. Similar price to me when I was in the same situation.
is your excess high?
Note: you will need a tracker with Tesco.
L&V don't do under 25's AFAIK.
