ITV's Sunday Coverage was poor

Just the Super Special unless they showed more on the 0.20am Monday Morning Show

EuroSport's was better

There's a re-run of some of the stuff on ITV2 tonight.
Not sure how much though.

I thought Friday and Saturdays coverage was really very good :thumb: - but Sunday - bldy awful!!! How boring was the "live" superspecial??!!

What happened to the excitement in the forest stages?!
We were standing by the jump in Margam forest on Sunday afternoon and it was fantastic. There was an ISC camera crew there - but nothing made it on to the telly. Was far more exciting than the superspecial!
Petters jump was absolutely incredible - miles further than everyone else!

I can't see the point of having the superspecial live on TV - it's just too boring and needs editing!

What a brilliant weekend though - wish it was happening again next weekend!
On balance though - I think ITV did a pretty good job - it's not there fault that the rally ended with a cr&ppy superspecial!

I wacthed the rally last year live on itv and thought it woz brill and thought it would be the same this year and they gave us that super stage but near enough no highlights of the day I was gutted by this, and on the friday they said 3 hours worth of rallying, but there was only 2 and a half hours of it

Anyone notice how the footage was sped up on ITV's coverage last night?
Phil's notes were sped up too, you could tell as the pitch and intonation increased

Utter wank IMHO

tv coverage is getting worse, but reading the papers today all they could do is put a smidge of news on about the 6th page from the back of the sports section.....rally needs HIGH profile publicity not this coverage they are giving us now....Tez

One of the best programmes over the weekend was the one on Sunday night/Monday morning which had all of Sundays forest stages - FAR better than the hour long superspecial rubbish.

Problem was, the last Sunday programme was advertised as "highlights" (which it wasn't!) so I don't think anyone bothered recording it - or didn't even realise it was on!

I know I'm biased 'cus I was there by the jump (and you can see me on the telly!), but Petters Jump in Margam on Sunday was just amazing - and it was only shown on the late Sunday night programme!

ISC will have tape of pretty much everything from the whole weekend as they had cameras everywhere. It would be excellent if they'd release a DVD of this years RallyGB and include some of the material that didn't get on the TV. (but I don't suppose they will...)

The biggest mistake, in my opinion, was the hour long superspecial programme - complete waste of the rallys limited airtime.

What coverage have you got - all ITV & Eurosport? Is it any good?

- I've managed to miss virtually every bit of footage through one reason or another!
