Bit lame for a final stage, Margam would have been better.

But Petter did say "bull$hit" on live TV! :D

I quite liked the last stage - head to head was good.

Attu, this recording you are talking about, was there much more shown on welsh tv than English ? the only thing i can find thats showing any of it is Eurosport at 10.30pm :( for a full 30 mins, fecking whoopee doo.

I was watching yesterdays show this afternoon (recorded it). As it got to the end of the show they said 'we will be back tomorrow at 2pm'.
Aaaaaah, its 2.45pm.
I instantly switched off the video to see the last few seconds of Petters run.

Missing all of todays results, it was a great surprise to discover that Petter and Phil had won the rally.

Petter was talking to a few of us in the SWRT pit on friday night, just telling us how it was going and what problems (if any) they'd had. He said that due to the tyre rules they had a mix of tyre compounds, some perfect for the conditions and some not so good. But they had to use what they'd specified in advance as they're not allowed to change their selection.

I got the distinct impression they knew exactly what they were doing, and what the opposition was doing. Petter was super cool and you could tell they had something in reserve. In the timecheck area the team techies were walking around looking at all the oppositions tyres (i saw Sainz looking a bit concerned about his fronts).

My guess is, earlier on they were using the 'not so ideal' tyres and keeping the perfect ones in reserve for the final push.

Because if you like the rally enough to sit up till midnight to watch it, then surely you must be that much of a fan to want to know the up to date results as they happen :) i take it you have access to the internet ;)

Just never seen the point in watching a recorded program 3 weeks later to get the result :confused: and then getting wound up cos someones spoiled it for you :rolleyes:

seen it now on Eurosport now, but still would of prefered to see it than read it here. :) actually would of like to have been there, alas that wasnt to be. :(

I was trying to find rally radio on the way back fron margam yesterday to find out the final stage times and superspecial commentary but couldnt...anyone else have any trouble tuning in or was it just me?

Was anyone else up in margam forests where loeb took a corner a bit too quickly and lost maybe 3-4 seconds? think they showed the incident on eurosport and itv last night, couldnt quite spot myself though!!

RRadio was on available around rally hQ and service park area apparently but i did get it a lot up in the hills at rheaola

i got the radio only around felindre and rheola stage.....i think they need to make it a bit more of a stronger signal so you can hear it throughout the rally....tez
