Can you fit 235 to an 03 STi?

Anyone done this, is there any benefit/downside?

The 235 size should be ok, fitting wise.

Only thing if your thinking or replacing the standard 225's and using the original rims, they may be too wide for the 7" alloys. Tyre can roll too much on it's rim.

The 2005 JDM is using 8x17" alloys instead.

The 2005 does have slightly wider arches as well for the 235/45/17's it has. I've seen 235's on JDM MY03's though, they had 8x18 wheels though.

The JDM Spec C ver 8 (2003) has 235s by factory, with the Euro spec 17x7,5 wheels I don't think there is a problem!

My 2003 SpecC Sti9 came with the standard 225/45/17 RE070 tyres on the 7.5x17 wheels - I've only seen the 235's on the latest models with the wider arches.
