Question Calling all Godspeed AP 6 pot owners!!

Just got my kit and tried a dry fit last night.
Under 17" speedline turinis, found the caliper catching the disc on the outside but also clamped by the wheel.
The part no. on the caliper is CP7040.
The AP website says this is for 18 and 19 wheels and says CP5570 for 17s.

What part no. caliper have you got and did you have problems?

Please help.......

got them under 17's but had to remove the tops and bottop of the caliper edges with an angle grinder... speak to Ian about it and he'll tell you The caliper should not catch the disc at all though..... ( I also went for Cp7040 as I use 18's for the road and 17's for the track days and "made them fit")

What a great idea, not sure if I'd be happy to take an angle grinder to my brand new calipers WTF!

Send them back and get the correct part number for your 17's.

DJ140 - I think you'll find that Fizz's kit was made for 18" wheels , and the calipers were modified slightly so he could use his standard 17" wheels for track use , if he didn't want to use the 17" wheels there would have been no need to touch them.
