Do a search - I have an MY03 so not a classic.

There are many on here who do have though.

Tyres choice has to be right I believe on the classic but the wheels do fit.

They will be STI wheels then with that tyre size. I seem to recall it needs 215/40/17's but that may be bollcoks!

Do a search using the search facility for the alloys - there are loads of threads about them.

I believe that they were meant to have 225/40's but as these are quite rare then most users seem to go to 225/45 with little problem unless you have slammed your suspension!

Cool

I have had two sets on my classic, one silver, one graphite, which I still have.

They look good. I've used Goodyear 215/40 17's and now have Toyo 215/40 17's in the new T1R. Pic of car with silver ones, now sold, just after cleaning:
Note "Subaru" on wheel centres blocked in in red:

Thumbs down

None for sale, no.

I'm not sure about 225/45's..........the clearances are pretty tight at 215/40, and that gives the correct rolling radius for my car. I've read on here of bigger tyres rubbing on the rear wheel arches and people having to remove the rubber strip on the lower edge, or even have arches rolled?

I put 03 wrx alloys in gunmetal grey on my classic. Tyre size 215 45 17 which were on the alloys fit no problems ( I even have eibachs). Correct tyres are 215 40 17 for the correct rolling radius. (Which I have just got)
Oh forgot to say they look top too!!
