I'm sorry you felt that way about the event. Vern worked very hard to make it a success and I for one felt that most of us enjoyed ourselves. I too am a girl with a Scooby which was also parked in the Market Square - I don't have any stickers to say who I am but my numberplate is distinctive M 600OBY which is illegally spaced and I can talk upgrades and enhancements but I don't class myself as ****!
You say that it was very clicky and no-one wanted to say hi - I was marshalling the Ladyplace car park from 8.30 to 11.30 and I don't recall you coming over to me to say hi!
Glittery stickers are not my thing and neither are blue neons and I don't have a Scooby Doo sitting inside my car - whatever floats your boat i say - but we do all have an interest in cars which is why we all attended and slag off comments like yours are not welcome. If you put things on your car (and i include myself in this) then you must expect comments (good or bad) but if it ruined your day then best you stay at home next time.
Well done to Vern and Mrs Vern and Fatmanscooby and Chris and Simon and anyone else who helped, thanks to all of those who came along from all over the country and enjoyed themselves, there were some very peachy cars there and mine was nowhere near as nice as some but I stilll felt a part of it and I enjoyed it.

Soulgirl...........funny how you got the same response from this website too isn`t it!!!!
(I see you edited the bits that wound me up last night on the other website....wonder why??????)
You are the ONLY person who has been NEGATIVE about this meet,(and not just this website) so something tells me that everyone else can`t be wrong and you be right!!!!!!!!!
Also this bit:.....
"Middle aged men with a cargo of stuffed ScoobyDoo toys"
...as I said before, look a bit closer to home...you are not really a spring chicken are you???
Again, next year, best you stay in Poole then!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joan.

No it didn't wrxstian
Reports of events whether subaru related or not, are not always going to be glowing. I never intimated that the organisation was at fault, quite the opposite infact. I think the marshalls did a grand job and everyone knew where they were going etc.
Defensive replies over a negative report of an event is expected.
Joan... there is no right or wrong - it's personal opinions so you can put your nail file back in your manicure kit now

Yeah, but funny how everyone elses opinion is opposite to yours!!!!
Heres something I found earlier....
"SOULGIRL does nothing but moan anyway! she did nothing at alton but sit outside pizza express drinking coffee! its her problem and she certainly has a big one!"
I think, no sorry I know, you have a BIG attitude problem....and it looks like others agree with me, not just on here, a couple of other sites too.....
If you can`t join in the 'subaru spirit' I suggest you sell it and buy yourself a bimbo mobile......(perhaps a pram would be adequate)
I wont bother replying to any more of your posts because quite honestly, I wont waste anymore of my time on you.

Those are the nicest set of rims I've seen in ages.
There is always one isn't there!!.....Soulgirl,the only 'clique' at the Alton meet was the table that you spent most (if not all) day at.You are obviously not a true enthusisast who appreciates the hard work that went into planning such an enjoyable day (how many other car clubs have actually managed to have a town centre closed off for such an occasion?).

I suggest you stick to staying in doors with your friendly keyboard and monitor in the future..........you will not be missed at future meets.

Just using Nicks log-in as I can't get to my pc.
Soul Girl- What the F@ck are you on about?? The whole idea was to have a good day out and enjoy yourself, the day becomes what you make of it and obviously that wasn't very much!! I too was parked in the square, my car was the white my95 with the 99 front end on it that was full of dents and scratches, multi shade of colour paintwork that looks like a shed. Most peopple took the **** out of my car but do you hear me complaining?? I THINK NOT. The only thing I think you'll find **** is the butt plug you seem to have got firmly stuck up your OWN ****!!! I thought it was a cracking day out and for the record, Im a 37 year old middle aged man, who is neither an anorak or ****!! Don't bother coming next year!

LMAO@ this thread now. Im sorry Soul Girl if it wasnt what you expected but to be fair i didnt find it that much different to a normal club meet. As said its what you make it. Many people didnt know each other there it seems you were the only one incapable of introducing yourself.
Oh well whos up for next year then?

I for sure will be attending next year, i felt like the odd one out this year being the one with the only legacy estate turbo there!! But i still managed to introduce myself to new faces & really enjoyed the day! I think Soulgirl should get some sort of a life & as previously said sell her scoob & buy a hairdressers car like an MX5!!! i for sure made some new mates down there & it was one of the freindliest meets i have benn to!! Just a shame some others had to spoil it by putting there views on here!!
See you all soon & next year.

We will be attending next year - it was a last minute descision for us to go and I'm glad we did
- all I can say to some of the above comments are, how on earth did you expect to meet people if all you did was sat at a table all day, did you expect people to come up specially to see you & say hello? I didn't know many people, but everyone was friendly and said hello - whats the point in going to a meet if you're not willing to mingle with the crowds and put your self out a bit to say a couple of words to introduce yourself?
