Hi all,
I've recently bought a hand held radio scanner in the hope that I might pick up some useful info while out on stages, such as stage times retirements etc.. I've got three rally's coming up GB, Sardinia (Italy) and Spain. Does anyone know any of the frequencies used, this would be a great help?

TIA

It is illegal to listen to private radio broadcasts - emergency services, taxi, rally safety, probably even the team broadcasts.

I would be dissapointed with anyone here who advised you of those frequencies.

Saying that, I used to take a scanning radio to events. Read the manual and use the scan function to find the broadcasts - but don't listen to them.

"Although it is not illegal to sell, buy or own a scanning or other receiver in the UK, it must only be used to listen to transmissions meant for GENERAL RECEPTION. The services that you can listen to include Amateur and Citizens' Band transmissions, licensed broadcast radio and weather and navigation broadcasts.

It is an offence to listen to any other radio services unless you are authorised by a designated person to do so."
