Hi
Could any one forward me a web site with detailed maps of the friday stages
And directions on how to get to them
If i recall www.rallygb.co.uk (http://www.rallygb.co.uk) was a great site for all sorts of info on the stages
but its listing last years
If any one has the postcode i can get the maps from multimap
Thx in advance nathan

That depends Carter - if you want to get to a stage they show which roads you need to use to get there which was one of the questions asked.
Theyre the most detailed of the maps released to the public so are probably the best bet for the stage diagrams too.

The stage maps are pathetic, but that is good as they get nowadays. The organizers don't want you have to much detail so that you stay put in the official spectator enclosures and don't go wandering.

if you look on the map for say, ss2 all you see is a road going of to the right.
thats not detail sorry
from past experience i now to turn right across from the pub in new inn
but to people going to the rally for the first or even to wales for the first time you have to admit there pritty lame

If I recall, are there not green "Spectators" arrows - or do they get taken as souvineers?

no its a very detailed maping system costs £49 from pc world etc
lets you plot maps, tranfer them to a gps device, print them etc
whats handy is if you input how much fuel your tank holds, and how much it costs per litre and your cars mpg it will calcutate how much fuel you need ,how much it costs and at what point you need to fill up
also shows ,atm`s ,garages,pubs etc
very handy to have plus it covers all of europe in great detail
