View Full Version : Halfway Viewing Milly1 09 September 2004, 15:40 Hi guys, Going to Halfway this year for the first time. Anyone know a good viewing point as will have kids with me !! Any help greatly appreciated Ta very much! Guy in a Clio went off there last year, but also there is a really tight Hairpin and a Steep downhill right hander over bridge into 45L all in the same area. grpbrallyfan 13 September 2004, 22:35 I remeber that clio incident, we were watching in the quarry section and two american speccies had binoculars that they kindly let me have a gander at the stranded clio. Thats half the fun, the comeraderie between spectators. There was this little hut in the quarry and some guys had built a fire and were letting anyone in coz it was flippin freezin! Hope there will be the same amount of spectator friendship as there was last year, havent yet found an annoying/unfriendly spectator at an event! james rallymad_homer 13 September 2004, 22:37 its great isnt it james, we were in the brechfa car park last year just sat chillin with everyone around getting lashed. it really does make a change to meet some decent people !! This place is awesome, we accidently ended up here, 3 years ago, cause we could not get to our normal view point due to traffic and now this is the place we have come to every year since. It makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck, bring it on! |
