View Full Version : Paying on the day (!)

Err,

I've been really busy recently and have forgotten to order my rally tickets!

If I order tickets now I have to pick them up from Cardiff - which is a bit of a no no as I live near Stafford (and there will be no time on the Rally Weekend)!

What do you think the chances are of me being able to get into the Margam (2) stage on Sunday by paying on the gate? Is it likely that this will be sold out?

My first rally too - can't believe I forgot to order the tickets!

If not, how about just going to the service park? Worth it?
Or should I just forget the whole thing and wait until next year?

it isnt that much of a detour to go to Cardiff its just off the m4 it might be a better option to buy in advance as im not sure what the situation will be like on sunday

See http://www.walesrallygb.com/default.asp?Page=TicketsBuyOnDay - it currently shows availability for the Margam carparks but that can obviously change. I would make the journey as I dont think all the carparks in Margam park will be sold out.

Service Park is worth it to see the teams in action. Maybe worth a visit early on Sunday morning before Margam?

Paul,

Thanks.
I was thinking about something along these line.
I was just wondering if there was any realistic possibility of getting in to the Margam car parks.

I've deicded not to risk it and have bought a couple of tickets to Margam 2 on Sunday - Car Park M.

Was hoping to be able to book tickets for the service park for Saturday, but this isn't possible.

Now travelling to Wales Saturday am, picking up tickets in Cardiff (what a pain - anyone got any directions to the pick up point?), and then (hopefully) going on to Felindre before retiring to a hotel in Merthyr.

Then on to Margam on Sunday AM.

Hope it's worth all of the hassal, expense and travel for one stage!! :)

Cheers!

Thanks for this - thought it couldn't be that difficult to find.
I'm sure there will be hundreds of people making the trip!
