After a suggestion by lordharding of the cumbrian scoobs, we may make it an afternoon/evening day out.
Meeting up with the cumbrian scoobs somewhere near Preston for a spot of lunch around 2pm, then convoying from there to the official start of the blackpool run.
As always, bring your kids, at it's a great atmosphere on the prom, with the windows down, and the roar of 70+ scoobys around you :)

Looks like wife and son are on Cub Camp that weekend (her turn this year, I did it in sub zero temps last year!) so me and the Mo will join the fun. She is happy to do anything if there is a big mac as part of the deal.

Now redwrx has posted up all the details and route info, I can announce a start time for our convoy there.
5pm @ pcworld carpark, just off portwood roundabout in stockport.
This is the time we'll be leaving, so get there early!

Getting mithered to go to the lights by the missus and so if i can delay her for a few weeks and incorporate a run outs with the SMACS in the process ill be well happy :)

unfortunatly, at the moment the event looks like it may be cancelled due to it being infiltrated by other car clubs. redwrx, the organiser, quite rightly wants to keep it to scoobys only. you can see here (http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?p=3777085#post3777085) for details of what is going on at the moment.
otherwise, keep your eyes peeled for a midweek or sunday run soon,

I have no probs with that at all, have a great day if it goes ahead and lets hope its not spoilt by any other car groups / individuals.

Ill be out for a run soon, could do with sorting the suspension out first though, getting more 'wollowy' by the day now, now sure if its me getting paranoid or its actually getting worse.

suspension seems to be the buzzword with the smacs at the mo', me, barnesy and andy are all getting/have got upgrades in the last month.
wouldn't have thought your a3 was in need so soon, maybe all that driving with us it putting too much strain on it, not what it was designed for eh? :)
