Hi all. I live in Aberdulais just NE of Neath and was wondering how many people try to get a free view of any of the stages. I'm not talking about getting into one of the nominated spectator areas for free but perhaps walking up the side of a hill halfway along a stage and watching the action.

Any thoughts welcome (except "get a bloody ticket" ;))

Heres a suggestion for free spectating, with no parking problems....

BECOME A RALLY MARSHAL!!!!!!!!!

(plus you get to drive the stage!!!! :D)

Is there still a chance to be a marshall on the forest stages anymore.

Yes Mat on certain stages there is still a need.

Please read the "How to marshal" section on http://www.walesrallygb.com/default.asp?Page=Marshals for details. I suspect that if you arent MSA reegistered at the moment then you wouldnt be able to get any licence back in time for the event now though.

Paul..
