Hi.

To cut a very long story short, I have an event pass, but don't fancy going to Walters Arena at all, so I bought tickets for Rheola car park E as well.

I thought i'd let my parents borrow my event pass so they can go to Walters Arena. To do that I had to get an extra car park pass, which I did and for some reason I was sent extra passes for car parks E F and G.

What are the chances if any, of getting into one of these other car parks and indeed the stage with an event pass?

Is the event pass strictly limited to Walters Arena (bad decision by whoever decided this if it is)

Any advice would be good, though I think I already know that it is limited only to Walters Arena. I agree that Walters Arena is a great stage for families and it is being advertised as such, but come on organisers, why do they send every event pass holder there. Not fair IMHO.

OK. Rant over.

Thanks

Ben.

the event pass will only get you in to the carparks which you were given carpark passes for so in over words you pay £99 for 6 stages
rip off but there you go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Totally agree Ben. Cannot understand why the Event passes are sending people who are generally the keen, experienced spectators to the family oriantated Walter's Arena. Guess we need to complain to the organisers to get it changed for next year.

Hi Guys,

I suspect that its simply down to logistics. There are a large number of event passes sold and every location must be able to accomodate all the event pass holders. That location can hold a large number of people and was probably chosen for that reason.

As for the car parks - if you have an event pass then that will only allow you access to Carpark G. If you have additional stage tickets for Carpark E plus the carpark E sticker then that will get you into Carpark E. You wont be able to access Carpark E with an event pass (with or without the car sticker for carpark E).

Hope that clears things up

Paul..

Hi

I think you are probably right, it must be a logistics issue.

But I am still baffled as to why EVERY single event pass holder is sent to Walters Arena. I guess I am not the only person who is buying tickets for other car parks to avoid going.

Ade, you are also right, you would possibly expect event pass holders to be the more willing to rough it in the forests rather than going to the stage which is being plugged as the big family stage. I for one am not prepared to go to Walters Arena, it will be too busy and frankly I am happier to spend an extra £20 to go to another car park.

Oh well, not long to go now, 10 days.

See you there.

Ben.
