Nice car :)

But I've always wondered with this on e-bay ... why put a first bid that's below the reserve price?? What's the point if you aren't going to accept it?

Are you actually trying to say you'll take a 6k offer? If not, why put that as the first bid? Always wanted to be able to ask that :)

I agree - the whole Ebay thing puts me off too...
Shame as it is a car I would be interested in otherwise.

Start the car off at a lower price.. get more people interested and bidding for the car... then (hopefully) it will go over your Reserve price! Car sold! :)

Its also cheaper to place the add that way, thats why people start everything off at 99p and whatever.
