Hi All,
Forgive my ignorance. Does anyone know if swapping the backbox on an otherwise standard MY99 for a H&S "scoobysport" backbox reults in any increase in power. If so, how much?
Any advice appreciated.
Best.

Im sure it will yes, probably around 8bhp, but will feel a bit perkier.
You can tell the difference at a guess.
Do the full system and you will notice alot more!

Thanks custom, thought it was just my imagination!
It feels a bit keener lower down the rev range and sounds very nice allready. I dare say I will get the full system at some point, but its ok for the time being. I've only just bought the car and have already done my first minor mod! Next on the list is cosmetic stuff: colour coding and a big sti5 spoiler!

*ducks* Yes, I seemed to have inadvertantly opened a can of worms on that issue in another thread. I refer to it as the H&S backbox just to be safe!
Our comments seem to reinforce the notion that whether you go for the Janspeed one or the H&S one, you'll be very happy with the results!
Mine sounds great already and hasn't even bedded in yet!
