Had somebody round tonight to give me a quote for installing GCH.

He was telling me how due to the level of consumption in China, by the end of this year heating radiators and copper pipe will be in a short supply. He mentioned three price rises on rad's so far this year.

Sales BS or reasonable truth?

I know steel demand is up. One of my customers is a steel producer and their London office has been sat on it's ass for a long time as they've had very little to sell.

Stelad Radiators have put up their prices by 20% in the last month and its probably going up again in October, havn't heard about copper price increases though.

This graph suggests copper prices on the commodities markets increased a lot between September last year and April this year, but have fallen since then........
