After much heart ache I have decided to sell what I believe to be the ultimate Road/Track Impreza.

The car is a white 1995 car on a M WRX private plate, it is Taxed and Mot'ed until Feb 2005 and has covered 57200 miles.

This car has been modified by me at great expense...here we go!!!

Full STI 4 spec. engine rebuild at 54500 miles by API engines at a cost of £3000.00 in April 2004. Less than 3000 miles ago!!! Still under warranty.
Fully adjustable Bilstein PSS9 coilovers fitted at the same time at a cost of £1000.00.(original suspension included in the sale)
Organic fast road clutch fitted at the same time at a cost of £300.
Also I had the headers ported and a baffard sump fitted at a cost of £300.

The car is also equiped with:
Full Link ECU package fitted by BRD, last mapped by Bob Rawle 6 weeks ago. The car has always been run on optimax and NF if required.
HKS FMIC fitted in March 2004.
550cc injectors, uprated fuel pump and regulator, Bosch performance coils and earthing modification.
Full Scooby Sport SS de-cat Grp A exhaust.
K&N induction kit.
Uprated Brembo front brakes with pagid fast road pads and Pagid grooved disc's fitted.
Full wheel alignment and bump steer mod.done by Power Station.
Safety Devices 6 point bolt in roll cage with door bars and 'X' harness bar. (Can be removed).
Blue Cobra Monaco front seats fitted with 3 point harnesses.
1x4 17" Anthracite OZ 'P1' wheels fitted with 2 month old 215/35 Pirelli P Zero Nero's.
1x4 16" Anthracite Speedline Comp2 wheels fitted with nearly new Dunlop D01J road legal cut slicks.

This car also comes with the usual STI RA goodies :-
Adjustable Centre Diff.
Ultra Close Ratio Gearbox.
Front and rear strut braces.
Ali bonnet and high level rear spoiler.
Roof Vent...etc.
Plus this car has air con, Sony CD head unit, 6x9 Rockford rear speakers and JBL door speakers.
Sigma Cat 1 alarm.

The front bumper has been modified with a MRO airdam to accomodated the massive FMIC and I have fitted a small carbon air scoop. The car has got Carosse red front mud flaps fited aswell.

I have not done a power test on the car with the new engine, but on the old engine with the standard top mount it produced 312bhp/300lbft late last year. I estimate that this new engine will produced approx. 340bhp/320lbft when it has been fully run in.

I planned to use this car solely for track days this year, but due to the old engine failing I only managed half a day. I am selling the car to raise money for some building work on my house.......I must love my wife!!!!

I have a folder of receipts that total over £11000 since 2001, of which £6800 has been spent this year. I have all the MOT's from when the car was imported in 1998 and the original Hand book in Japanese.

I am after around £9000.00 for this car which I believe is amazing value for money. I do not want to split any of the Mod's for the time being. If you are after IMHO the ultimate Impreza then please contact me by email.

Cheers
Dom.
PS - I will post some Pictures tomorrow.

No problems Mark, its hard enough to shift used cars at the moment!

I understand that 9K sounds a lot for a 10 year old car, but believe me this car has been turned into what I believe to be the ultimate track spec. impreza and I believe that it is worth the asking price........or a near offer!

Cheers

Nice car is the type ra but not worth 9k for a 95...

there always on auto trader for 5-6k with lower mileage too and better equiped and tidier than the above one, 9k will get you a type r just about nearly a bug wrx

Gents,

Can any so call used car specialist please refrain from adding any other unhelpful and to be honest stupid comments to this thread.

I am trying to sell my car and I think to the right person it is worth around 9K, if your not the right person then carry on looking and good luck in finding the right car for you.

Markward,

I would like to see you try and buy a car then mod it to that level for £10k. Until you manage this, it would be nice if you were to just STFU.

It's a lot of car for the money really.

i agrree i have seen them on autotrader for 5-6 k,a majority are very standard..have you actually read the spec of this car..it would cost large money to do this to a standard ra..and besides that this one looks awesome, functional,on the button ready to go..well worth the money in my opinion...

Tbh you can buy RA's all day long for five grand or less.

For that money you will more than likely receive a car that may have been modded, not necessarily sympathetically or sensibly, with an uncertain recent history.

This car is streets ahead is in terms of proper developement, and that is what you are paying for.

It has been created by an enthusiast, and not a max-power fan or its jap equivalent, who may have been just been after boost and not longevity.

here endeth the sermon;)

simon:D (fully paid up type RA fanatic)

Gents,

Thanks for the positive and intelligent replies...! It's nice to hear from fellow enthusiast who can appreciate the work I have put into this car.

I am very proud of how the car has turned out, it develops full boost at 2800rpm and the power figures were achieved running only 1 bar of boost. The torque curve is quite amazing it hits a peak of 320lb/ft at 3200rpm and stays pretty flat to well past 6000rpm.

I have had the car for over 2 years and it is now time to move on.......a nice Lotus Esprit V8 will be in the garage in the new year, hopefully!!

Cheers

Dom.

This car is an STI RA and not the usual WRX. WRX RA cars do NOT have the following.

Roof Vent
Plated rear diff
DCCD centre diff
Forged pistons (although this has a whole sti4 bottom end)
