Existing concrete will be taken up by myself. mrklaw 23 August 2004, 16:41 just had a round of quotes done. Driveway is about 80sq.m, going to be done basic brindle block herringbone, with charcoal edging, plus two areas kerbed and raised for planting. Area already cleared and sub-based, so only need to sand and lay. Quote I went for was £2800 all in, starting quickly. Thats in the SE area (berks) messiah 24 August 2004, 14:15 cheers. are you doing the raised areas yourself or is that included? The lawn at one side of the driveway slopes up, and I'd like to level it off and have a small wall down one side of the drive, only about 2 bricks high - will probably have a go at this myself though. mark@wrx 24 August 2004, 16:12 Paul its dead easy mate. Just think of it as Lego for grownups! Had experience of dozens of drives for that well known local developer who build round our way;) |
