looking to buy a digital camera for general use, holidays, trips out etc but which one ??

Any views :)

We got the Olympus 400 mju - £179.99 from amazon. Got a Fuji memory 256meg card too which was identical (but cheaper) than the Olympus one.
So far so good, picture quality is excellent (you want at least 3mega pixals IIRC) and it has an optical zoom which I'm told is a good thing to have.
Have since found out about 4 other people we know have one and no complaints so far :D

That is one of the ones i have been looking at, seems to do everthing i want

Canon A80, well pleased with mine.

A80 for me too.

The Canon A80 has now been superceded by the Canon A95 (which is now 5MP rather than the 4MP of the A80).

The A85 was recently launched too, and is 4MP, but it was the replacement for the A75 rather than the A80.

Still with me?!?!

Anyway, you may be lucky and be able to pick up an A80 cheap before they all get sold - it seems to be a good camera.
