Guys, had a bit of a spectacular failure of my power steering pulley last night. One of the pump retaining bolts worked its way loose and whacked the back of the pulley knocking it very much out of shape...
Car is fine but my immediate diagnosis of snapped alternator belt was sadly innaccurate.
Does anyone have an old pulley or pump/reservoir set up lying around they could spare the pulley (and a bolt) from? Have tried Glenburgie but Liams out until 6pm this evening and i need the car 7.30am tomorrow (have no access to another).
I had hoped i'd never have to post a thread like this....

Ok, panic over for now guys. Dad tapped
the old pulley back into shape and appears to have done a fairly decent job of it. Dug out a bolt from the one of the piles of Ford spares in the garage too. Stuck it back together and the pulley seems to be damn near 100% true again.
Obviously if anyone local has a fecked PS pump with a good pulley still attached i'd love to hear from you so i could get a full repair done today. Otherwise i'll be waiting till tomorrow to get one ordered up from Glenburgie.
Thanks for the suggestion Robin but as Brian says, Edinburgh ain't local to Aberdeen and i can get one from GBS sent next-day tomorrow as well.
