The STi's or the WRX's

Just wondering,I think the WRX ones give the car more depth:).....

...and as I'm just about to fit some to my STi,I think they're gonna look pretty good with the Scott Lowe carbon splitter and soon to be added rear bumper spoiler:cool:

any thoughts?:D

fudpucker by name, fudpucke by nature....

Look forward to the pics of your rear bumper - when you planning to have it done? Don't think I've ever seen a pic of one painted and fitted.

Agree about the side skirts. I think the STI ones are nice, but if you have front and rear lowered, the WRX ones work better.

Hopefully have it on by next weekend:).I'm going for the genuine subaru item
so as your pretty much assured that its going to fit without any faffing about with it.

Scott,I think I'd better keep the originals:)...not too sure what its going to end up looking like yet;)

I've still got a spare bumper and fog lamp covers tho

If your fog lamp covers are the STI variety, would they be up for sale?

well yes,but as they're only 70 quid new already painted complete with logo's
makes my sun bleached/stone chipped used ones pretty worthless:(

They look very good, suit the other nice bits and pieces on yer car down to the ground.

Think they suit much better - gives your car a more purposeful stance.

You need some help from your front lip supplier matey.
BTW YHM!

what extensions you bought?? Got the front and sides of my new car sorted (when it arrives on wednesday) but looking around for something at the rear, if what you've bought looks pants, i don't want to do the same :p ;)

By the way, the skirts really do suit it!!

I prefer the STi skirts. The black front splitter really looks good with WR blue. (IMHO it looks better than is does on a black car)

post pics of your rear!

Is it crap cause of the paint job/fitting, or just doesn't look good?

I'm definitely curious though, as rear ends are neglected on here :P

The fit was excellent,no messing about with it at all.I did have to drill 2 holes in the bumper tho(ouch!!;))

The trouble with it is:- for just a simple strip of plastic,it totally transforms the look from the back of the car.....all for the worse:(imho

maybe if I've cheered up by 2morrow I'll re-fit it and post some pics

BUT NO LAUGHING!!;)

I think you kind of lose the nice rounded shape of the bumper with that rear lip. Although it looks OK from the side.

^ What he said.

Looks harmless from the side (if a bit 'bolted on'), but from the rear its a bit bland?

Odd, as the front benefits from reducing the roundness.

Are the holes you drilled in a visible bit, or can you remove it without problems?
