You may or may not have seen the post trying to sell my Impreza 5dr, but the spec. is quite high.

Had a call from Country Motors this morning. Not sure who they are but they have an ad in AutoCar every week looking for used Impreza's

Anyway, joker offered £13200 !!!!!!!

Bye Bye high residuals!!!

Heard a story where some guy got £18k for his low mileage RB5. Dealer put it straight on the forecourt for £24k!!! There are dealers who specialise in ripping off, then selling high!

Unhappy

just depends how desperate people are to sell
It's funny how the terrible offers suddenly become attractive when you spot or commit to your next car..

These dealers know that and thats why they get away with it..Long live importing..B**ger the dealers

There is no reason you have to accept a low offer from anybody.
If you can't sell the car and only get one offer it is your choice. Don't forget the dealer then has to sell it on, he has made investment and risk so that you can have some cash back in your pocket. The upside for him must be that the risk is made worthwhile by the potential profit to be made.
Don't forget the only reason that (nearly) all businesses exist is to make money. - If you don't like that concept read 'small is beautiful' by Schumacher. There are some changes that need implementing in the world!

Mick is absoluteley right - nobody is forcing you to sell to him. And if it is worth so much more, how come it is still for sale?

I'd say the price he has offered is about right from a dealer. Some of the mods on your car may well detract from the value (e.g. the PE upgrade which has presumably blown the warranty), and probably make it much more difficult to sell on.
