have got a cheapy V5 on at the mo that's got 8 bolts fixing it to the boot, now got a V6 spoiler and it's only got 4 bolt fixings, on the outside edge.

this seems ok fixing wise, but i'm just a bit concerned that with the middle not bolted down it may lift over time?

it's only a fibreglass copy and comes with some sticky backed foam stripping to make a good seal?

just wondering if anyone has dealt with this style of copy and what sort of results they've had?

will probably veer to the side of caution and stick a self taper in the middle but was just wondering if it is necasary? (not worried about extra holes on the boot lid, onto spoiler no.4 now:eek::lol: )

Just bought a V6 spoiler and it has three fixings each side.

Two I've bolted through and the third one towards the back was a "pop in" type of fixing.

No need for anything in the middle, really firm!

just had scooby world's carbon fiber sti6 rear spoiler fitted on mine it has 2 at each end and 2 more bolt's with big washer's on near the middle;)

fitted a fiber glass one on a mate's scoob with oly the 4 bolts 2 each end and he's had no bother with it lifting so far even at 145mph ( on private road of course):D
