First a moan about Ralliart UK through which I ordered my Evo 6 last year, for "January/February 2000" delivery. Basically they kept fobbing me off with either duff information, or no information at all about delivery dates, and when April arrived and the car still wasn't in the country, and they could not tell me when it would be, I cancelled my order in disgust. The only prompt thing about their service was my deposit sent back to me by return of post, when I gave them 7 days notice in writing to deliver the car in line with the contract of the original order. Goodbye to 6 months interest on £6K, several months of driving my old scoob which I sold privately ages ago, and several months wasted insurance money on the policy I had kept going in anticipation. I would advise any scooby owners considering buying a Ralliart car to be very wary of delivery dates.

Other financial committments (namely the price of a decent size house near London) mean that I may be looking for a cheaper car than the Evo in the next few months. So, my question (since I have been out of the scooby scene for a while) is what the current situation is with Euro-import scoobys right now? What sort of price are people paying, is Holland still the best place to import from or should I go for a broker (and if so, which one), and is the waiting list still the 7 months it was a year ago?

TIA for anyone who can help.
