OK so I got the recall for the front wheel, within 1 week the bike has been in, new wheel fitted & back on the road.......

they give you a new tyre?

They told me 1 week initially, that was last Tuesday. They are now saying I am in the second batch and they will receive the wheel within 2-3 weeks.
I'm a bit annoyed as I bought their first ZX10R and they gave priority to someone else :-(
Can you notice much difference between the wheels?
The original ones strike me as very thing and close to the edge, have they thickened up the new ones?

J Vines at Rayleigh, Essex is the dealer 01268 775485. I can't tell any difference at all..... From what I understood it was the casting process that was at fault, it has been presumed that wheels may well be X Rayed to check for hairline fractures...

That said all front wheels are being replaced with new units & I also think the bearings & bobbins on the discs have undergone the same old for new treatment.
