Need someone reliable in Leeds area to check voltages on the wires that go to the front 02/Lamba sensor as seen in pic



dont want to spend £300 on a new sensor if its only a wiring fault

its an intermittant fault, sometimes it will run days with no problems or a CEL, other days its a pain in the *** with lumpy idleing and CEL's on all the time.

really need an auto electrician to check it out

 

Phil, cant you just borrow Corradoboys Lambda and see if the problem goes away?

Depends how many days he needs it for If it's intermittent it could be a while but I'll help if I can.

 

I've got a couple of calibrated meters that read to three or four decimal places

 

Thanks for the info guys, I'll get under the car tomorrow and check the physical wiring to see if its ok. Seeing as its intermittant I thought that would be the first place to look.


after that , if the wiring is ok then I'm open to suggestions
