Does anyone know of cars being broken in the Herts or Beds area, or any breakers.

I think I could be after a new altinator and I've just been quoted 235 for a recon.

Just a thought, have you tried placing a note in the 'Wanted' thread?

 

We're in Warwickshire, J12 of the M40, we have this wonderful thing over here called 'mail' and a newer one called ' couriers' We probably have an alternator for you - you'll need to tell us the numbers off it and for safety year and model. We normally charge £50 plus carriage and VAT with free return for refund if not satisfied.

Let me know if we can help and we'll talk to 'mail ' and ' courier' to see if they've ever heard of 'Herts' or 'Beds' and how much it'll cost to get it there.

Cheers David, but after testing the alternator its not that. Under full load its pushing 13.98v back to the battery.

Now here's hoping all is fine.

Now for the desision on the project.
