Folks,
Would it be a good idea to keep ourselves up to date with the camera locations
during the weekly build up to the rally?? That way everyone will have some idea of where they could be during the weekend?
Or perhaps a road angel could sort that out :)
Cheers

It's whether they start using mobile units again :( My sat nav will pick up fixed cameras and also has details of all the popular mobile spots, but it can never be 100% full proof. I would hope after the appalling publicity that the police received over the last two years because of their policy during the rally would make them think twice. Then again....

One idea could be to keep within the speed limits whilst in South Wales? Then you dont have to worry about it.
Im certainly not an angel on the roads but last year stuck religiously to the limits simply because I knew there would be loads of camera vans about and my licence is worth more than that to me. As it happens, I saw far fewer then the previous year but I still managed to avoid a ticket...

Yep sticking to the spped limit is the best option.......
The reason I mentioned the speed camera thing is that I was heading over Black Mountains towards Llandovery and was descending downhill from the mountain and basically on the way there was a sharp bend and there it was a speed camera sign and a cameras within 60-70 tards of the sign. Okay I was just over the limit but had time to break down as I had just come down a steep road! And its those little scenarios which can really cause problems. Okay a camera sign does slow people down, but cameras are no doubt for revenue!
If the police put speed cars around the place aswell as cameras then that would do the trick....
