Just logeed onto the web site to order my tickets, the site doesnt look secure, so called the service deskt o order tickets, they advised me that all they do is load the same webpage. I'm very concerned that this page is not secure.

any veiws on this?

The acutal ordering of the tickets is done via TicketWeb who use 128bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to secure the site (and your connection when you place the order). All transaction information will be encrypted. The public key certificate used for encryption is issued by Thawte - who are a major CA (Certification Authority). You can be assured that ticket ordering on the WRGB site is as secure as any other good online trading company.

Because the ticketweb site uses frames you cannot see the normal "padlock" icon when ordering as the browser only displays the security settings for the surrounding "frame".

The actual order page where you fill in your details (after you select your tickets and click proceed) is secure. It shows high-grade encryption AES-256 256 bit in security properties and also displays the normal padlock if viewed outside of the frameset.

In my opinion, this page shouldnt be in a frameset as it does worry most people.

I may be going off the thread a bit here but, how long does it take for the tickets to come through the post once ordered?

i ordered mine the first day they went on sale and i got them 18 days later.

Excellent Spikedog - I'm not a web designer, so it is good to hear the technical reason. If it's using AES-256 even better!

Ticket wise - I received mine about 2 weeks after ordering
