right just tryed to get a quote from them for an 93 sti import
and thay said that thay wont untill im 30 :cuckoo: now iv seen other posts on here with poeple under that age insured with them
This is me :
im 28 full no claims driving ten years clean licence

Its an import, over 30 only on these, 25 and above on UK cars.

ok then call me spoilt but the only scooby iv driven test drove whatever have been imports sti and alike is there that much differance between import and uk spec

There is quite a bit of difference, the only think puzzling me is that you state you have a 93 sti?? :confused: the fact they didnt come out till 94 in its original form is what i take it you mean?
UK cars are normally less powered (208 bhp 201lbs of torque or there abouts), the STi has 250ps and 227lbs of torque (the engine should be silver topped and not red topped for an original STi).
You also get more goodies on the JDM cars, a/c, electric windows, ABS (factory option on some of the earlier WRX's), folding wingmirrors....
The UK car is quite tunable though and 250bhp is easily gained ;)

sorry got my dates mixed up and i was getting the quote before i i go and buy one anyway thanks for your verry quick responce it helps me loads so now i have to find a uk wrx fully loaded so to speak:)

You could always try tesco's, they do require a tracking system (which is a must on a scoob anyway) but they should be pretty competetive :D

im happy now just got quote from tesco £1330 for a 94 sti import ok its a bit high but what can you do when you want something so bad :)
