Although we have a water supply for both washing machine and dishwasher we dont have a waste pipe setup for the dishwasher.

The plumbing under the sink (directly to left of where dishwasher is) has a spare exit hole which is covered by a blanking plate that exits horizontally.

I bought a 40mm P pipe from B and Q but the thread doesnt quite line up so I guess our piping must be about 42mm. B and Q dont seem to do anything this size - anyone know where I can find this as starting to piss me off that I have to put the waste pipe into the kitchen sink at the mo.

Thanks,
Simon.

Unfortunately, there are quite a few different makes of pipe, and they don't always match up:(:

If it were me, I'd remove the bit from the waste with the blanking plate, and take the whole thing to a good plumber's merchants.

They will probably be able to sell you something like a nozzle that fits in place of the blanking plate, then your dishwasher waste fastens to it with a Jubilee type clip.

That's how mine is done anyway:):

Or a good plumbers merchant will stock a waste stack to which you can connect two hoses.
