Hmmm, Elephant were alot (and I mean ALOT) cheaper than my renewal quote from Tesco with my P1!!! Elephant also didnt mind about the mods, and Tesco wouldn't touch me with mods!

Strange :(

Both quotes are without mods,im currently testing the water with what it will cost me to insure either P1 or Type R.Only know of Tesco and Elephant that do online service.

Try www.confused.com (http://www.confused.com) and www.moneysupermarket.com (http://www.moneysupermarket.com) and you'll have most covered.

Also try www.livepoolvictoria.com (http://www.livepoolvictoria.com) but only weekdays during office hours as their quote system only gives proper quotes then  There's a host of others - try a yahoo or google search if the above don't help.

Ive had good experience with them. Recently had a claim with them that was settled quickly and then they quoted me £670 for a replacement modified scooby straight afterwards! (did have protected no claims though). Interestingly just told them I was adding 17" wheels and uprated brakes - thats cost me an extra £18.50

So Ive had good experience....

Hmmmm, I'm paying just over £800 with mods with elephant aswell on a P1. Not sure how you've got such a bad quote.

I'm 29 with 5 years protected no claims :Whatever_
