I suspect its some third party thing that's been branded subaru. scoobyboy 09 July 2001, 19:45 im sure its still a sigma alarm coz it has the same key fob and numerical pad Silent Monkey 09 July 2001, 19:59 My UK MY01 has an M30. If its an European 01 it may be different as I'm led to believe that the sigmas are fitted after the cars are in the UK. Your certificate should have details. Shark 09 July 2001, 20:58 Since the Terzo in 98 all UK Turbos have a Sigma M30, That Class 1. Silent Monkey is spot on, the alarms are fitted by Subaru Uk at the docks. They did a deal with Sigma to produce a kit that was taylored for the Impreza. The latest ones have special pods for the IRs and the key pad in the coin box to the right of the wheel. David Chris.Palmer 12 July 2001, 00:13 Took my Clifford dealer 30 mins to rip the Sigma out - then a day and a half to fit the Clifford (& all the loverly accesories). I'd recommend a Clifford 600 IMHO its the best money can buy & Blakjax is a mega bonus. PS - I thought the early Sigmas installed at the docks (pre 98?) failed Thatcham approval as the engine could be turned over for 1 nanosecond before the imobilisation kicked in? [Edit inserted below] Oops disregard all comments about Sigma stated above it was the Cobra! I'd still recommend Clifford though. Cheers E. Bob.C 12 July 2001, 13:20 Do any of you guys have any instructions on the use of the MY01 alarm other that what is in the handbook. I am trying to find out details of what the keypad does but can see no mention of this in the handbook. BugEyed 12 July 2001, 13:52 Edward Edward 12 July 2001, 17:15 Duncan, Thanks for the info. E. |
