Has anybody had a 'Clifford Concept 600' fitted to a 'MY01 WRX' as I have some simple questions that need answering :-

-Can the 'wireless fuelgaurd immobiliser' be used with this combination as my local dealer reckons that on the older WRX models it could'nt be, due to the binary pulsing in the wiring loom causing interference or something like that ?

-Does the drivers door have a motor for the central locking or does it require one fitting ?

-How much did you pay(inc.Installation)

-Basically any other tips on settings/options etc.....

There was a fix on the old jap import wrx models, not sure what it was but there was a modification so it could be used, dont worry about it if you have a uk spec car, u wont get the same problems

Cheers Tony, the gezza whose fitting it said that Clifford did a modified spec of the 600 for use with WRX's,he's going to give clifford tecnical support a ring on monday.
Do you have any answers to the other points ?

Nice one Tony,I'll keep hold of that number but I've already booked it in at my local agent for this week,I've had a couple fitted before off them so I'm quite happy with the quality etc.....
The price seemed a bit steep though at £680 plus glass tamper sensor(£20).I take it you like the turbo timer, are there any disadvantages with it ?

Give Tim aring on 0411079779 and see what he can do for you http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif ive got a turbo timer and remote boot release on mine, its a good option (turbo timer) and he did me a good deal on the system, hes done lots of imprezas and his quality of work is outstanding http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif as for cost it was in the region of 650 quid i think, its been a while since it was fitted so cant remember off hand but a good job if i say so myself http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Yup that price does seem a tad high as it cost me around 650ish i think including the glass tamper and turbo timer, but it takes along time to fit these 600's as for the turbo timer, no problems with it, but its nice to have a diskloc with your car when its on http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif its intergrated into the immobiliser and i think it cuts out if the car is broken into whilst its running, but its tested as cat1 with it fitted http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

The car does not cut out if the car is broken into when the tt is working. The steering lock will engage, if it's not already, and of course the car would cut out after your set time anyway.
I wouldn't be without mine. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
