Can anyone help me with a problem?
I've just bought a 97 scooby from a dealer to which is fitted a META alarm/immobiliser. My insurers wont cover me for theft unless i can prove the unit is CAT 1, but the car came with no installation certificate which i need to send in to them. How do i find out the model and get a new certificate?
I cant get in touch with the previous owner because the log book has been sent to swansea.

I suggest giving META a ring on
01905 791700 and finding your nearest approved fitter. Hopefully they will be able to confirm the model number and issue a new certificate.
