View Full Version : How easy is it to change a diaphragm on a combi boiler? Scoobychick 06 July 2004, 11:04 As per title really, is it easy diy or do we have to get a Corgi engineer in? :) Cheers Sal Mog 06 July 2004, 12:26 CORGI eng I'm afraid. Mog Scoobychick 06 July 2004, 12:33 Cheers Mog, it needs a service anyway, any idea how much we should pay for a diaphragm change asuming it is just that that needs changing and not the whole valve? :) Mog 06 July 2004, 16:15 A diaphragm costs about a pound, but can take up to 2 hours to change if the whole valve needs to come out. So sometimes if the valve has to come out it is sensible just to change the whole unit, a new valve will cost around £80 depending on Boiler make and model. Mog Scoobychick 07 July 2004, 09:24 Cheers for that :) adyhicut 13 July 2004, 19:54 Thought u already knew how to change a diaphram Sal ;);) Ady :D:D RR 13 July 2004, 20:01 What combi is it?. |
