Finalised the deal with my brother over the weekend. Just got to get it MOT'd and taxed. Insurance will be done today (£153 TPFT, 5k miles a year including commuting and business use :D )

I am just itching to get out on it. It's been far too long since I last owned a bike and I'm well pleased that I've finally sorted myself out with a bike. Even better is the missus is just as keen.

Anyone know a garage in Woking or Camberley/Sandhurst that know these bikes.

Nice one - put some pics up then :D Still wish i'd kept mine for a second bike.

Don't know of a garage in that area but if you need parts/servicing in the south east then there is BAT motorcycles in South Norwood and Fast Lane in Tonbridge.

I have bought bikes off both these garages who specialise in grey imports and had servicing done at both. BAT's weren't great for customer service but they know the 400's inside out and may well be better now as it was 10 years ago I last used them.

Fastlane was where I bought my Tri Arm from and always had it serviced there.

Go and register at photobucket.com and simply upload the pics to the space they give you and then they will give you a url under the pic so you can post it on here.

Its all self explanatory from the site but if you get stuck just ask or pm me.

Prodriva - there is a guy I know based in Crowthorne that knows these bikes inside out. He used to work for CarbonTek a few years ago and has serviced/fitted things to my bike and also my wifes RVF400.

He's a good bloke and will tell you what's what without forcing you to spend money that isn't necessary. There is also Elliott's in Cricklade (just past Swindon) that specialise in these bikes if you want a "proper" garage/workshop.

Isnt there a garage at the top of Box Hill that specialises in 400's ? There definitely used to be.

They did indeed, but IIRC they closed down. Don't hold me to that though.

Prodriva, you could always look on here (www.400greybike.co.uk) as well.

Top bike mate :) :)

With lots of talk of 4's on here at the moment I'm thinking about getting one for the road again, my gixer is just used on the track now, don't think you need any more than a 400 for our speed camera filled island

ENJOY!!

Matt

Cider boy, Do it mate you wont regret it. I got a Tri-Arm but only because it was my brothers and its in as new condition with very low mileage. If it wasnt for my bro I would have spent the money on a VFR/RVF or the Gull-Arm as I do slightly prefer the looks of them over the Tri-Arm.
