I've always wondered if front seat covers are removable (MY98 turbo) as there are a number of zips and clips that could be undone. Problem is, I'm not sure I could put them all back together again http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

have wondered the same myself, as I'm known for taking things apart and not being able to put them back together i've shyed away from doing it.

i can say that they are definently NOT
removable,the back may have zips etc. you can access but they are glued on bigtime to the seating area i.e. the bit you sit against. the cover becomes part of the foam
almost inseperable.
so realy i suppose they are removable but NOT if you ever want to use them again

the backseat covers however are easily removed refitted etc.

Yes they are removable but NOT reuseable!!
I had mine taken off to be replaced with some luverly leather but there is no way you couls get the original covers back on as they had to be cut to be removed.
