interested to hear how you get on if this is a full T25 set up for new age sti

I am getting it done to a MY00 Turbo and the reports are good from there so looking forward to that. Im getting the bumpsteer mod done also...

Let us know what you think mate.. and the spec of your car. Have been thinking of getting this done for a while but have put is off as not sure what else to do as well.. i.e eibacjs or go for the AST coilovers !

Just had my geom done at Powerstation this week.

My car is only a year old 2003 JDM WRX STi.

The rears were spot on but the fronts were well out.

They have settings to work to for; caster, camber, toe etc. They put it on a ramp and attach cameras to the wheel which allow the computer to determine the settings. They then adjust it while hooked up to the computer to get the correct settings.

Unless you tell them exactly what you want they will set it up to their fast road spec.

The difference over factory settings depends on how good/bad it was set up by Subaru.

Rich and the guys at powerstation know what they're doing, and have based their geom settings on their experience.

If you know better, as you may well do, then tell them what to do.

If in any doubt I'd let them do their job, you'll be astounded by the difference.

From memory there are 3 options. Go for the one in the middle. Fast road / track use. No bad signs of tyre wear after 30 odd thousand miles and great handling.

I am sure you will walk out of there with bumpsteer, anti lift and rear castor bolts.

Did wonders to my my99 though.

Can I just add to the general Powerstation recommendations, they are good! As has been mentioned, get an idea in your mind how "radical" you want the setup to be. I had about 1 degree of -ve camber to start with - but it wasnt enough for me, so went for 2. Much better, but only if you push it REALLY hard.

Secondly, I found the ALK to make the front end a bit harsher to bumps, and extreme braking can make the back end a bit light. Minor points, but just mentioned it so its not a surprise....

I've had geometry and bumpsteer on my MY00. It was transformed. It's a good starting point, have a chat with them about other mods based on your driving style for later reference. I'll probably have a uprated rear ARB and solid droplinks at some point in the future. Maybe one day the full "T25" setup, those AST coilovers look fantastic. Need money :D

I got the bumpsteer mod done and the geometry setting and I must say the car fells excellent and alot tighter and more fun. As there is no castor adjustment on the Impreza, this is something I might look into when funds become available.
Also the lads at Powerstation get the thumbs up from me as they have a very professional approach and have no problem being annoyed with questions.

I may be completely wrong but I think that's only on the front. To adjust the rears you need extra bits?

It may only be the classic STi's then, or maybe on the RA's? Mine was all adjustable on the standard suspension. MY96 STiRA

I thought there was no adjustment for castor on the front either....
