View Full Version : Ferodo DS2500 Group Buy
Scooby Dooby Blue 24 June 2004, 19:21 The guy in the unit next to my work is a Ferodo/Brembo specialist.
I suggested he offer a low margin price on the DS2500 pads if I could drum up group buy interest.
Anyone needing pads soon?

I'll chase the guy up on Monday.
For the record, you get a fair amount of brake dust off the Ferodos but they don't half stop you !

DAZ6151 02 July 2004, 21:36 where have you got to scooby doo.
geordie pride 03 July 2004, 19:22 Why don't you try AS Performance, Alyn seems way cheaper all of the time anyway, for Pagid or Ferrodo - 0191 4103770
info@asperformance.com
speedydaveb 05 July 2004, 18:46 Why don't you try AS Performance, Alyn seems way cheaper all of the time anyway, for Pagid or Ferrodo - 0191 4103770
info@asperformance.com
I rang Alyn today and he has given me the following prices for 4-pot calipers with 295mm disks:
Pagid 421 pads £144.38 (pair inc VAT)
Ferodo DS2500 £125 (pair inc VAT)
Alyn said that they do usually offer group discounts and will email me details later which I will post up here.
I am also after some disks, possibly either EBC turbo grooves or Tarox G88's, though AS Performance are currently offering a good price (£140) on some unbranded grooved disks which they have used for racing without problems.
If we were to order disks aswell we can get free P&P so it's worth considering!
Goodridge brake lines are £55 for nickel plated items and DOT5.1 fluid is £6/500ml if you are interested.
stockcar 05 July 2004, 21:30 just to clarify the price for the lines is for the "stainless" fittings kit at £55inc..........................and the Ferodo / Pagid prices incl. a "free" delivery.........................
cheers
TyPe~~R 05 July 2004, 23:12 Sounds good, would like more info on the discs aswell (sizes) if poss a 290mm solid (as oposed to vented) Rear disc
speedydaveb 06 July 2004, 13:32 just to clarify the price for the lines is for the "stainless" fittings kit at £55inc..........................and the Ferodo / Pagid prices incl. a "free" delivery.........................
cheers
Goodridge brake lines are £55 for nickel plated items...
I suppose I could have spelled it out clearer, the lines themselves are stainless steel and have nickel plated fittings. These are £55 inc VAT.
If you want the stainless steel lines with stainless steel fittings I will have to ask him for a price, but think these whould be about £10 more per set.
If you order disks aswell you can get free P&P, if you just order lines and/or pads you may have to add P&P, I will post the details when I get them.
Anyway, I thought 'Scooby Doobly Blue' was sourting out some prices for us, I just rang Alyn about some prices and asked about group buy discounts while I was on the phone!
stockcar 06 July 2004, 20:01 sorry to clarify again..................the "goodridge" full stainless kits are £55inc..............the "ggodridge" zinc coated fittings kits are £47.50inc.................
Pagid pads and Ferodo pads prices incl. a "free" delivery anyway as a "deal" for scoobynet peeps...............
