Anyone recommend a Builders supplies/merchant, around Livi/B'gate for hardcore and whin sand.....if I don't get this patio finished before the summers gone my fat **** is gonna be in a sling she dusni understand a good job takes time to do!
I know i would be cheaper going to a quarry but no way if picking it up.

you could try build base in whitburn, they deliver the stuff in those great big white bag things(dont know what they call them) or try looking in the yellow pages

Baxter Bryce "now Buildbase" ain't as cheap as they used to be, try Keyline IIRC they're in Broxburn I've been getting my stuff from them recently they'll match or beat the price from Buildbase, IIRC they saved us about £250/300 on concrete blocks and Fyfestone compared to Buildbase.

Always thought Keyline were really expensive? while since I've used them. Looking for 2 or 3 recommended names to phone saves phoning loads( lazy bass.)

theres a new place in east mains industrial estate something like Edinburgh Building Supplies i think ?

Prices are reasonable used them for paving blocks last month

Dont use Builder Centre. Far too expensive.

 

There is a Building supplies in Longstone in Edinburgh cheapest around and delivery is free but they pick the day to deliver it dont know the name or number but there is only one building supplies there under the the bridge next to the cash and carry place ????? LOL

Know the one you mean Pongo555 ,do they deliver oot to Livi free?? Was gonna go out to measure up today but 'tis a touch damp.The area I've dug oot is now a paddling pool.
