As some of you already know, I have recently fitted a brushed aluminium effect dash kit to my car.
Chrisp took some pictures at the Midlands meet, so if anyone wants to have a look go to

Stef - I was considering the same upgrade (brushed alloy) but I am seriously considering the carbon (not effect, genuine!). I think the silver finish would look tacky on a black car. Looks great on yours though, as you have silvered seat trim. Either that or Chrisps photos are dodgy!
Where did you get your dash kit?

To finish the interior off trim your door cards in (only the area around the door catch) in green Alcantara the real stuff

No I don't. I wasn't sure whether Chris' camera was working or not and took three by mistake! Didn't think he'd post them all up though!!!

I agree. The main reason I went for the alu' kit was because my seats and door panels have silver trim already.
I bought it from 'Carnoisseur' and it cost £110. It is EXACTLY the same as the kit that GGR sell for £240!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/redface.gif
They do fake wood (for people with cream leather! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif), fake carbon and this one.

I like the colour of my car outside, but I certainly don't want it inside. I'm trying to keep my interior all black and silver.

Stef, only my opinion so dont be offended but please change that horrible gear gaiter and those rubber mats!
Dash kit looks very smart indeed!
Hope youre not misrepreseting the characters on your number plate!

No offence taken mate!
I'm waiting for my black/silver mats with ally kick plate and I'm still looking for a decent gaiter, even though I don't mind the rubber one too much. Any suggestions?
And the front number plate is only like that whilst parked off road or on track days!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Stef,
Can't you fit the gaiter from a '98 on?

Stef I've fitted a Racing leather gear lever gaiter (Racing being the brand name)to my scoob, all I did was slip the leather one over the horrid rubber one and it just tucks under at the bottom, very neatly I may add.
Another bonus is that it screws up to the base of the Momo knob making it look all as one.
I bought mine from Demon Tweeks for about £25 I think.
Thanks David
